We are hiring for the following positions:
1. Salesperson –
Riverside Marina & Yacht Sales is looking for a salesperson who has experience with new and brokerage boat sales.
A salesperson will be responsible for all aspects of boat purchases, sales and trades of boats, and assist with the administrative responsibilities that go along with those processes.
This position involves understanding the details of various boats and yachts to be prepared to answer customer questions and to provide assistance throughout and after the boat sale.
Tasks will minimally include:
- Preparing sales contracts for new and pre-owned boats
- Handling paperwork to list and complete the sales of pre-owned boats
- Providing photographs of listed boats and creating online sales listings
- Managing inventory and sales leads
- Negotiate pricing
- Preparation for the booth/display of inventory, and participation at regional boat shows and open houses
- Delivery of new and brokerage boats to buyer
- Interacting with manufacturers’ reps

2. Sales Assistant –
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to provide support for our boat sales and Harbor Store staff.
- Full-time position – Saturdays are required
- Some knowledge of boats helpful
- Outgoing personality
- Must be physically capable of climbing ladders to show boats on land and also to board boats in the water

3. New Boat Prep Technician –
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work both independently and with crew members to complete commissioning jobs on new boats. A strong ability to communicate effectively with our Service Manager and Sales Team is necessary. Required knowledge of boats, marine engines (both inboard and outboard), repairs, maintenance, electrical systems, and electronics.
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the New Boat Prep Technician will be responsible for:
- Commissioning of Jeanneau Sail and Power Boats, Beneteau Sailboats, and Highfield Boats
- Proficiently use computer diagnostic tools.
- Install and repair vessels 12v DC & 120vAC systems.
- Perform basic electronics installations, VHF, GPS, Depth sounder, Radar, etc.
- Take classes or courses as needed to advance your technical skills.
- Inventory control of the materials used for the job.
- Keeping the work area clean and presentable daily.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Boating experience is a plus. Must be able to pass a drug test.
